Ireland (1)

Hello everyone!

This is going to be my first of many updates on my Ireland trip to come!


For those who don't have clue what I'm talking about:
I have teamed up with Royal Servants, a short term international missions team to Ireland. I will be driving to Chicago, IL were we will all meet and do a week long training camp about 45 minutes away. God will be challenging us, getting us prepared and best of all we will be camping in tents that whole week! Then we leave July 3rd for Ireland!!! We will be doing street acts in Londonderry and Skerries! We also will be staying in churches while we are there! This is a great opportunity I think all teens should experience! 

Update:

 I am currently still in the process of raising support, praying hard, and getting my supplies for the trip! The support raising is coming in little by little completely in God's hands! At this point I am a quarter of the way there! I'm learning lots from this and know I definitely can't do this on my own. I do have a back-up plan if I don't get all of my support in on time. I'm working two jobs right now and just finished high school, so now I'm trying to put my whole focus on this trip and getting prepared!

Prayer has been a big part so far and still to come! I get more and more excited to see what God may have in store for me each day!! For those of you who have given toward this trip you will be receiving a prayer card!

Nonetheless I have to get all my supplies, and for this 5 week trip we are only aloud to bring a moving box 20in by 16in!! I know, it's crazy, I pack that much just for a weekend, but I learn that this is for God and we shouldn't worry about what we look like or how much stuff we need! Once we get to the training camp we will be receiving a sports bag to put all of our stuff in. I recently figured out how much stuff I need to get before I leave, 28 items! Yes, I have to fit that all into my moving box! Guess you could say I need prayer for being able to fit all my stuff into a box! :)
